Well, it's that time of the year and "something" is going around. Chills, headaches, runny nose, fever, watery eyes, cough, sneezing ...you catch my drift. Some people wonder if getting a massage while they have a cold is a good idea. I don't think having massage while anyone, the client or the massage therapist, is acutely ill would be beneficial. The massage session should be rescheduled if either one is suffering from a cold or the flu.
Let your body detoxify from the cold/flu. Get some rest and drink plenty of fluids. After a week or so, depending on how you are feeling, make sure you set up your next appointment. Your massage therapist may want to add an essential oil, maybe lavender or eucalyptus, on your next visit.
