One of the big guns in your body's arsenal is your immune system, which is designed to protect you against disease. With today's toxic environment, your immune system is really working hard fighting viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites. You also have to withstand assault form within the body when cells go rogue or your body over-reacts to what it perceives as a threat. Throw in the effects of dealing with the economy and you may find yourself close to the breaking point.

What to do? Well, your job is to help supply some ammunition so that your immune system can function at an optimal level. Ideally you want to strengthen your immune system before you get sick. Can you really afford to be sick right now? Of course not!

Now you already know that poor health habits sabotage your immune system.

  • Late nights. 
  • Junk food.
  • Sugar overload.
  • No exercise.
  • Trying to do everything for everybody.

The remedy is to take simple action.

  • Eat a healthy diet.
  • Get 8 hours of sleep.
  • Exercise.
  • Wash your hands.
  • Make time to relax.
  • Drink plenty of plain water.
  • Manage your stress.

Aha! You already know what to do to reduce your stress level. Getting a massage will also give you a powerful boost of ammunition for your immune system. Natural killer cells (lymphocytes) increase and are right there on the perimeter as the first line of defense.
