I applaud your blossoming musical ability. Learning to play guitar seems like navigating a complicated maze to me. However, I do know that your hands need some work, especially those fingers. Most likely you are in the beginning stages of building calluses on your fingers. Unfortunately, that process can leave you with very tender digits. It probably feels like it takes forever, but I'm told that eventually the pain will decrease. Also, I understand there are some on-line sites that may be helpful in making that process a little bit less painful as well.

Did you know that hand massage can help with your discomfort? Either hot stones, lava shells, warm oil, a soaking hand bath, or a combination of these are just a few methods that can be used to warm and relax your hands. That warming is followed by massage of your palms. Circular friction to the back of the hand is done and includes the knuckle areas as well. You already know that while playing the guitar your wrist should be straight, but sometimes you forget. For that reason, wrist massage is also performed with the hand massage. Next, the fingers and thumbs are carefully rotated. This is followed by massage of your fingers and thumbs on all sides, starting at the base. The closer to your beleaguered tips your massage therapist gets, it is likely that less pressure will be used, but, of course, that depends upon your pain tolerance. Your therapist can re-visit those fingertips if you like, but your hands are undoubtedly feeling much better now.
