Third Shift

It's been a long time since I've done shift work, but once you do, you never forget it. Trying to stay alert when your body says it is time to rest is no joke, especially on the dreaded third shift.

As you know, there are many professions where shift work is a necessity. Unfortunately, the reality is that some people suffer from fatigue, weakness, insomnia, and achiness due to their body clocks not adjusting well to that work schedule.

Tired?

Recently a client admitted losing the battle against achiness and requested relief. My client came in after work early in the morning and literally embraced the heated table. After 90 minutes of a combination Swedish-deep tissue massage, the achiness was gone and my client felt great.

Think about getting a massage right after work. There are therapists available who will work with you to accommodate your work schedule.
