  5. If you are paying at the Pemberton location, payment is by cash or check only.
  6. If you have a gift certificate, please redeem within six months of the purchase date.
  7. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to complete the intake form and discuss what you desire during your session. If you have completed the form from the site, please bring that with you and arrive ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

Services

Swedish massage is also known as relaxation massage. Long gliding strokes, kneading, circular pressure, stretching, vibration, and percussion techniques increase the oxygen flow in your blood and results in improved circulation. Accumulated toxins in your muscles are also released. Gentle, yet firm, pressure gives you a soothing massage that feels wonderful.

Reiki means Universal Life Energy. Usui Reiki is a Japanese energy modality that intentionally channels energy to promote well-being in the body. It is a gentle modality that works to bring about positive changes. The client remains clothed (unless Reiki is combined with massage) and light, gentle hand placements are used in different positions on the body. The energy flows through the massage therapist to promote natural healing and balancing of the mind and body. Reiki helps to deeply relax the body and relieve stress and can benefit everyone.

Deep tissue massage is a slower, deeper massage that uses the knuckles, fingers, forearms, and/or elbows for maximum penetration. You may experience some discomfort during the massage that is outside of your normal comfort zone. However, your pain tolerance will be closely monitored. This massage reaches the deeper layers of muscle tissue to release tension by concentrating on areas of muscle contraction. Focusing on your breathing is a must for this massage.

Hot stone massage uses heated stones to give a light, medium or deep pressure massage depending upon your preference. The penetrating heat relaxes your muscles and increases blood flow to the areas being treated. Sink into this massage and focus on each moment.
